"Eventually?" A large crash made itself present in the background, followed by a quick, yet far-off bugger, bugger, bugger. "Uh, don't worry about that. Everything's fine. Simply checking in, me. Hang on, is that really your message? Bit cheeky, isn't it?" Then came a thud, the sound of hopping. Theta's voice seemed to bounce. "D'you know what? Let me call you back. No no no no no!" Beep.

What. No. No. The phone clicks on: "Theta, what the hell is going on--are you trying to cook? Are you running an experiment? Tell me."

[thetes]

"Hello, I'm fine. Everything's fine. Hello. Yes. Hi. Koschei? Oh, hello, dear." It clearly isn't.
